To say that this is a colossal mess is an understatement.
I firmly believe, however, that every challenge we face, offers a great life lesson.
Today, I learned this: this is no time for frivolous things like cooking, organizing or saving time. This is a war zone.
At a time like this: ditch the laundry on the laundry room floor, along with any other ridiculous ideas you might have about cleanliness. Pack the car with whatever you might need for the next 10 hours or so and RUN, don’t walk, out of the house. Don’t come back until you’re ready for showers and bed.
At least I was warned in advance by Keri and Christine. They told me to just let go and let the workmen work. They were right.
I’ve got a feeling the same thing is in store for me tomorrow.
I’ll keep you posted!
