So, in the process of gutting the bathrooms, we discovered that most, if not all, of the pipes from the bathrooms to the basement and back are in severely bad shape.
Some of these copper pipes have rotted from the inside out, some of them are simply broken and still others are fractured. Hence, the leaks.
Our home was built in 1937, so I think those pipes have earned their retirement.
Now we know. It makes me want to open up every wall and see what else needs to be replaced.
Margali and Flynn swooped in and quickly talked me back to my senses. Thank God.
So, a little more gutting, digging and opening up ceilings, but we’re making progress!
And the people that Keri and Christine have working here, have been wonderful to work with. That has certainly been a plus!
