OK, it’s quiet time for a very brief period of time!
The craziness of the Holidays will descend upon us in 3 weeks with Thanksgiving and Black Friday and then it’s off to the races until January.
Shopping for Holiday gifts, cooking for Holiday parties, baking for school festivities, decorating the house and volunteering in town always gives us that
anxious feeling of racing against the clock.
And every year, we eat too much, we drink too much and we don’t work out until January because we genuinely don’t have time. And we are completely exhausted. Happy Holidays.
This year, let’s all try something different. Let’s use this quiet period in early November to check some items off of December’s overwhelming calendar.
So, make a list of everything that’s got to be done and make a commitment to check 1 or 2 things off the list this week and I guarantee you that you will feel so relieved you did.
Tomorrow, I will be buying gift cards. Every year, we give them to all of my kids’ teachers, coaches and generally wonderful people in our lives, and they are warmly received!
Go Shopping for the Holidays Now!
When the Holidays come and you’re not feeling anxious and exhausted, you just MIGHT actually enjoy them this year.
