OK, so you’ve made all of your children’s dreams come true, boosted their confidence with friends and family celebrations, contributed to countless school parties and tipped everyone in your planet.
The kids went back to school and before you re-organize your house, I highly suggest you take some time to recharge your own batteries.
Moms are truly the backbone of the family and if we crumble, the whole family tends to fall apart.
So, use this opportunity before the tests in school start again, before the winter vacation and before you get sick, to really refuel your body and mind.
Some good ideas:
After you get everyone fed and out the door to school, take a hot shower and jump BACK into bed with some hot tea and a good book! And stay put like you have not a thing in the world to do!
Get a massage and/or manicure and pedicure and use the time in the chair to peruse a magazine or read a book. Do NOT make a list of any sort!
If you have a good, local museum, go and spend a few hours and enjoy it!
Take yourself and a friend out to lunch!
And whatever you do-DON’T make dinner on mental healthy day! Order In, Eat Out, eat cereal-but DON’T cook!!
You are the most important part of the family! Take Care of Yourself! If You Don’t, Nobody Else Will!
